Time Trials

You are awesome! Thank you to everyone for RSVP'ing for the Time Trials. We've had 136 of our 142 swimmers responding as attending or unavailable and we're expecting over 90 of our swimmers to participate and swim Thursday night. Coach Nathan and the assistant coaches are excited to see the team swim and get a feel for meets and log some baseline swim times in a lot of events. A huge thank you as well to you all for filling our volunteer jobs! 

You can go to the Swimtopia app or Swimtopia website and see which events Coach Nathan has your swimmers entered. We'll have Heat Sheet info ready Thursday that will include event, heat and lane assignments. This will be made available as a PDF and will also be available electronically via Swimtopia. We'll see you all at 6:00 on Thursday. Remember, swim meets go forward with rain, only thunder/lightening will delay or cancel the meets. As is typical on summer nights, there's a chance of rain Thursday evening. We're planning to swim and will send notices if there are changes/delays. 

Upcoming Meets

The Meet Entry and Job signups are OPEN for next week's two meets (Monday vs The Reserve and Thursday vs Hembstead). Please declare your swimmers for the Monday meet by Friday (6/4) night and for the Thursday meet by Monday (6/7) night. Honestly the earlier the better as there is a protocol and cadence we must follow in exchanging meet entries with our opponents. We'll need 33 volunteer positions filled for each meet next week, so please consider volunteering when you declare your swimmers' availability.

Please note that the theme for Monday's meet is Aloha night. The theme for Thursday's meet is Wahoos Spirit night. See the calendar entries for these meets for more info and details. 

Swimtopia

Please continue using Swimtopia to RSVP for Meet Entry and Jobs. This is very helpful for Coach Nathan as he plans events and lineups. The benefit to us as parents is we can get event, heat and lane info online (and much faster) and we'll be able to manage the meet flow in the same manner, helping everyone more easily follow the current and upcoming heats right on your phone or online as we go through the meets.
