Time Trials Results & 1st Meet Mon (6/7)

    Wahoos,

    Time Trials Recap

Fantastic job last night! We luckily avoided rain, the kids did some awesome swimming and you parent volunteers rocked! Coach Nathan and the assistants are so very proud of our swimmers. Coach Nathan challenged our Wahoos to push themselves and many swam 4-5 events last night and proved to themselves they can get across the pool swimming some long swims and tough strokes with the horn blowing and parents and fellow Wahoos cheering. Sure, not all strokes were 100% legal for an official meet. But the coaches got to watch these kids swim, get some times logged and know where to focus on support and guidance in practices. All of our Wahoos should be very proud.

    First Meet

Our first meet if Monday vs The Reserve Riptide. 6:00 Warm-up. 6:30 Start. We expect to finish between 8:00-8:30. Please be sure to RSVP for the meet today as we have to exchange meet entries with our opponents tomorrow. Use Meet Entry to RSVP. Please consider volunteering for this meet. There are a few additional volunteer slots for official meets and we'll be making some adjustments from things we learned last night at Time Trials.

Ali Titherington is our Team Committee Volunteer for Social activities.  She set the theme for this meet to be Aloha Hawaiian. We'll have leis for the swimmers to wear. Consider dressing in your favorite luau attire - flora skirts, shorts & shirts, grass skirts, etc. We'll have TCBY on hand serving cold treats. The concessions will be open with the grill operating (so hotdogs and hamburgers will be available) and you can of course bring your own food or have deliveries made to the pool.
