Important info re: Time Trials
June 1st
A few last-minute items to cover off on for Wahoos Time Trials tonight!
Schedule:
- 5:15 - Arrival time and kids to head near water slide to assemble for photo
- 5:20 - Team photo by the waterslide (note - we will NOT be doing individual photos this year, only a group photo)
- 5:30 - Warm-ups begin
- 5:40 - Volunteer meeting in club house (please also check in with Jennelle Vickers when you arrive)
- 5:50 - Swimmer meeting on basketball courts
- 6:00 - Meet starts
Heat Sheet, Swimmer Info & "Sharpie'ing"
- Please, please, please make sure to write your swimmers events/heats/lanes on their arm and 1st initial/last name on back before warm-ups. Info on how to do that can be found here.
- The heat sheet is now posted on Swimtopia. Short-cut here. Please print this out if you'd like to have it handy or don't want to view on your phone, as we will not have printed versions for parents at the meet.
- Swimmer entries sorted by name can also be found here. If your child is on here but no longer coming tonight, please let us know.
- Swimmers should enter the Clerk of Course by going around the right side of the pool near the diving boards only. We ask that parents stay near the tables/chairs and do not enter the Clerk of Course. We will have lots of coaches and volunteers helping get them to their lanes once they are in Clerk of Course.
Food & Beverage
- Complimentary pizza for swimmers will arrive at 6:45 (younger swimmers) and 7:30 (older swimmers) and will be near the ping pong tables.
- We're still confirming that the concession stand will be open, (should be!), but if not, you can have food deliveries made to the club for siblings and parents. You can also bring in outside food.
- Volunteers will be provided water and snacks.
- Please no alcoholic beverages at swim meets.
Team Merchandise, Towels & Caps
- Merchandise ordered from the store will be available for pick-up at a table near the snack stand.
- If your child did not yet pick up their towel or cap, these will be at the table as well.
Sportsmanship
- This is a big part of our team and an award we often win from the league! We encourage swimmers to wish their competitors good luck and wait in the water until the last swimmer arrives at the wall.
- Please stick to positive body marking. For example, "Go Wahoos" vs. "Eat my bubbles".
THANK YOU for the collective team work all around and see you tonight!
