Hello 2024 Wahoo Families!

So far, we have 136 swimmers signed up.  It's shaping up to be a fantastic group of veteran and new Wahoos.  

Important Dates

We are working with the coaches on our pre-season clinic schedule, and will have more information early next week.  As a reminder, practice begins the week of May 20th with 10 and Unders practicing 4:00-5:00pm and 11 and Up practicing 5:15-6:30.  We'll end our evening practices with a Sundae Bar celebration after practice on Friday May 24th.  

Time Trials is Thursday May 30th.  This is a mock meet in which swimmers go through the process of what an actual meet will be like.  It is extremely beneficial for new swimmers.  It also allows the coaches to get base times for the swimmers to place them in the correct events and heats.  Please do your best to attend this event.  We will also take our group picture this night.  

Stroke and Turn Clinic

The Greater Charlotte Swim League (GCSL), the league in which we compete, will host Stroke and Turn Clinics for any interested volunteers on May 19th.  This is a great opportunity for anyone new to these rules interested in volunteering to judge strokes and turns in meets.

The Wahoos Team Store is closing this Friday, May 3rd at 5PM. Get yourself some apparel sporting the NEW Weddington Wahoos logo! Orders will be distributed at the first practice, May 20th. Wahoos Team Store
