Wahoos Families,

Thank you for registering your child(ren) to swim with the Wahoos this season. We are excited to be back to a full, regular GCSL swim season with home and away meets, move up/down division scoring and a Divisional All-Star Meet. Wahoos practices start in just over a week. Here are a few tips to make sure you know all that’s going on with the Wahoos as the season ramps up.

Wahoos Swimtopia Site

There’s a lot of information on the Swimtopia site. https://wsrcwahoos.swimtopia.com/. The site includes meet and practice schedule, info on apparel, volunteer jobs, archive of news items, and many other details about the Wahoos and this swim season. Later Swimtopia will also be where you’ll declare your swimmers for meets and sign up for volunteer jobs.

Email, Alerts and News

Emails from the team will come through SwimTopia and look like this in your Inbox: "[email protected]" or "Joe Guy (via SwimTopia)", etc. Important emails are also stored as News items on the site. You may also receive Alerts on the Swimtopia Mobile App (or via email if you do not have the App).

You hopefully saw the welcome message from Coach Nathan. He noted there will be a Wahoos Q&A session at 6:30 on May 16. He also provided information regarding an optional pre-season clinic next week (May 9-13). See his email in case you missed it: https://wsrcwahoos.swimtopia.com/news/178280.

Registration Fees

Your registration fees include practices, meet participation, a team towel and a latex swim cap for each swimmer. Towels and caps will be distributed to swimmers the first week of practice. If you haven’t paid your fees to the club yet, you’ll need to do so before the first practice on May 16. You can pay via check or credit card with Janet at the WSRC office. You can also use Zelle: [email protected] as the payee address. (The payee may display as "Country Haven Swim and Racquet Club" by some banks. This is the original incorporated name of the club).

Fees: 1st swimmer $95. 2nd swimmer $75. Each additional swimmer $50

Practice Schedule

May 16th- June 8th

10 and under: 4:00-5:00 pm

11 and up: 5:15-6:30 pm

June 9th- 28th

10 and under: 8:45-9:45 am

11 and up: 9:45-11:00 am.
